How We Remodel Garments With Care

Clean Comforts focuses on garment remodelling and upcycling for clothes that still have value. Some pieces need a better fit, while others can be refreshed into something more wearable. We look at what the original garment can realistically support before any quote is confirmed.

For redesign projects, we discuss the concept, check the available fabric, and explain any limits created by wear, construction, or seam allowances. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately. This keeps the process clear from the start and avoids unrealistic promises.

Assessment first, design approval before work begins.

Every project starts with the garment itself. We review the fabric, seams, and condition before suggesting a redesign or alteration plan.

Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Where available, we also aim to match original thread and trim so the finished piece feels consistent with the garment's character.

Projects are handled through a simple review process that moves from inquiry to assessment, consultation, quote, approval, remodelling, and final collection. Fit and finish are checked again before handover, and small final adjustments can be made when needed.
